Doreen Perrine is a mixed media artist, and author who has been an art teacher for more than 30 years.  She studied at Scuola Lorenzo de' Medici in Florence Italy as well as Columbia University.

She was awarded a residency at the Byrdcliffe Arts Colony, is a salon member of the Williamsburg Art and Historical Center, and the creator of Prospect Park: An Album of Memories, which was installed in Brooklyn’s Grand Army Plaza Arch.

Doreen's exhibition for multi-arts project, Passages, was displayed in several branches of the New York Public Library.  Her art has been on display at The Kleinart/James Gallery, St Ann’s Warehouse, Cunneen-Hackett Arts Center, Clemente Soto Velez Cultural Center, The Catalyst Gallery, and the Brooklyn Museum Sculpture Garden.
